The light in the garden was lovely

... as I was cooking the salmon for our evening meal, so I quickly handed over the reigns so I could take a few photos.

I’ve had a busy, busy day, painting the planter that was a birthday present to me (extra).  It’s already to fill with compost and plant up tomorrow.  This one is to replace a box that was beginning to rot at the bottom and which was so overgrown I would have been hard pressed to do anything with it.  The contents of the old box are sitting there wrapped in plastic and I’m hoping to rescue the early flowering clematis which came from one of my dads cuttings many years ago.
