The Lozarithm Lens

Devizes (Saturday 16th May 2020)

Until last Sunday I didn't think I could justify the journey to Devizes on the grounds that that was where I could buy my preferred artisan bread. However thanks to our reckless leader we are now permitted to drive any distance we like to perform our permitted daily exercise. I was quite happy to combine my shopping with a walk around this market town.
This was actually the first picture I took, right beside the Crammer pond, where I took a small batch of photographs, including some of a clutch of ducklings (see Extra).
I thought this cluster of a variety of flora would be suitable for Miranda1008's Wild Flower Week. Thanks for hosting, Miranda.

So much better resolution in Large (Gallery) view

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Jam - Eton Rifles (Peel Session) (recorded 29 October 1979, Maida Vale Studio 4, for the John Peel Show on Radio One)
I recorded this onto a C120 cassette off the radio when it was first broadcast on Peel on Bonfire Night 1979 and more recently acquired it on the Jam At The BBC CD. It can also be found on the Deluxe version of the album Setting Sons.
Possibly more ferocious and angry than the official single taken from Setting Sons, this live in the studio version was played this morning on Radcliffe & Maconie during Claire Crane's Week In Music feature. At its conclusion Stuart Maconie remarked, "If anything, even more relevant now". I concur.
