Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time there was a Papa House Finch who was tasked with transitioning his Fledgling from a baby to an independent autonomous young House Finch. But Baby was very unsure and needy. Baby did eat seeds from a feeder, thanks to a couple of old ladies who appeared every once in a while to fill the feed stations, but Baby preferred Papa’s presence and assistance • Meanwhile Papa grew tired of his less-than-confident Fledgling and sometimes ignored Baby to force Baby to fend for itself • Unfortunately for Papa, wherever he went, Baby followed • I have been watching these two for 2 days. They are precious • Not the best photos but I wanted to share this wonderful experience with you all!
