From a distance

Hurray! Our golf club is allowing family groups of two only onto the course. Strict social distancing rules but golf is generally a non contact sport unless you're very intimate with your playing partners ;-) No intimacy for LH and me - our game was far too serious; winner didn't have to cook tea! All square coming down the last but I hammered home a victory!!

The golf ball was sprayed around on occasion (so what's new?) but all in all we had a really nice time (that doesn't always happen when we're playing together!).

Berry and the house were fine when we returned. She's finally discovered how to push open doors that have been left ajar (they were too scary and squeaky before!) so we have to be very careful when we go about the house.

Carpet cleaning for LH today (a self appointed role), usual general household jobs for me and an hour on the sewing machine. I've now sewn several seams and am trying to stop the reflexes honed over decades of pressing down to use a foot pedal to start/stop and reaching to lift or drop the presser foot. Does my head in!
