Welcome Mr B. Oriole

On the advice of Debbi Fulco, I started hanging orange halves from the witch hazel bush branches as seen in this blip. In the past I have just set the orange halves on the edge of the feeder. Does hanging make a difference? Apparently.
For whatever the reason this has let the Baltimore orioles know they are welcome. The first time ever that I have seen him stay around for more than a day. And now Mrs B. Oriole has arrived today (Saturday).  She is eating her share of fresh oranges. They are supplementing with peanut nugget suet.
Very happy to have these gorgeous birds flying around.
