Playtime

Minnie and I spent some time together in the garden - she playing chase and I playing 'click'.  She won - my pictures weren't great.  

Schools go back tomorrow after 7 weeks of being closed.  No-one's quite sure how the kids will react.  No doubt many will be excited to see their mates (so out goes any physical distancing plans leaders had planned.......the excitement of the moment will, I'm sure, create a national playground hug-fest) but there will be a significant number for whom it has the potential to be a traumatic experience.  I wouldn't be at all surprised to see high absenteeism either.  Hope everyone has a good day and a safe day - students, teachers and parents alike.

In COVID news today - one more case which, somewhat alarmingly, is a toddler.  He's connected to the rest home cluster that has sadly accounted for over half of the national deaths.  On the positive side there have been 5 new recoveries reported bringing the 'active cases' total down to 45.
