Starling greed

The starlings have once more invaded us en masse, digging up earthworms with their sharp beaks.
The fledglings scream endlessly at the adults to be fed, and if ignored, tweak their tail feathers or jab them with their beaks.

Here an impatient youngster does not allow the adult a moment of peace.

They don't fend for themselves, they don't tidy up, they don't make their beds.....
