Själevads Church

On the way home we drove through Örnsköldsvik and on the southern side of town lies this church, opened in 1880. It has twice been voted Sweden's most beautiful church, which is understandable considering both its architecture and its position, raised up on a hill above a lake, with a river flowing past it, and visible from the main road. Today it was particularly lovely with that backdrop of thundercloud and dark mountain.
HarlingDarling took her blip at the same time, but with no zoom so she has a lot more of the surroundings and the sky in her picture.
