Quack, Quack

I had a hard time deciding which photo to blip so put two more in extras. What a cute little brood these were!  Eleven in total with their momma and they seemed quite independent.  I was sitting quietly on a log when they came out of the reeds so had the morning light behind them. As they swam by me they became lit by the sunshine which is why I selected my main blip.  Looks like this little one was posing in a spotlight.

Not as exciting a day, bird-wise, but it was beautiful out so a great walk this morning. Now we are supposed to get a big storm. We shall see....
