Life through the lens...

In the shade of the May blossom tree.

When we first did this walk all those weeks ago the branches of this tree were bare, but many days have passed since then.
First the buds appeared, then the leaves and now the beautiful blossom .
I had decided to photograph it today for Blip before the flowers started dying off. So it was a nice surprise to have the bonus of the sheep and lambs who had decided to sit underneath in the shade. Although there wasn’t much sun.

Although mainly cloudy and with a breeze, it is much warmer.

I have just put in another order for more potting compost and some bedding plants as the small nursery near us isn’t opening yet.
Only open to trade customers at the moment, but fortunately they will still deliver.
Not the same as going to have a look round.
However it will have to do as I don’t want to go to one of the larger garden centres just yet.

At the moment our garden and next door’s are being bombarded with starlings.
The young ones have all fledged at once. No idea where they have been nesting, but they are making a real racket. Quite amusing to watch though.
