DERELICT SCENE

For the Derelict Sunday Challenge. Huge thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
The morning we were at the terrace, Piet Hein carried the benches (self made of old wood from the bookshop). I could not help because of my shoulder, but he managed marvellously. And the table and chairs are ready too, for a lunch or dinner when the sun is still warm.
A nice phone conversation with Mischa, which did us good.
After lunch we rested a bit and drove to the Invalidenhouse, parked there and saw on our way all kinds of heaps of derelict heaps that will be collected soon. We walked the Cinderella path. It goes parallel with the Sonnenweg, but much higher up the hill in the Reinhardswald.
At some point we took the path down to the Sonnenweg, steep as it was.
A nice walk, with climbing and descending.

After seeing all the silly photos, and having so much fun with them, I choose for today to give hearts to pkln, maureen482, dfb24, and Mindseye. Tomorrow more hearts will follow.
