Cheap at half the price ....

Another day of cattle related work today. Sorted out another shed of cows and calves to go out this morning. The cows all get 2 magnesium bolus down their throats to prevent grass staggers and their annual BVD vaccine jag. The calves all get a 7 pulse release wormer bolus down the throat to provide 6 months worth of protection .
To add to the fun we drew out cows that were needing the attention of the foot trimmer when he comes later in the week and kept them in. Also had to find their calves to keep in with them. Then ran the rest along the road to their field.
After lunch went round the field to check the electric fence. Couldn’t get any power so stuck a battery fencer on just now.
Mrs F was is a clearing out mood today and sneaked into my office while I was busy. We are now minus an old storage heater and various other bits and pieces. I will need to hide in a dark corner and read some of my childhood books to get over the stress. This Jungle Book seems a bargain at 3/6 !
