Horse Chestnut Candles

I find the candle flowers of the horse chestnut tree to be quite magical. They seem to be quite plentiful and this small tree growing in a hedge row had candles growing at a height to be photographed. At least as beautiful as a well-decorated Christmas tree, especially when a large tree is festooned with flowers to be admired from a distance.
