Green caterpillar time

We always know that when the great tits are bringing in the protein packed green caterpillars we cannot be that far off the chicks fledging.

I was trying to work out how to catch the approaching bird in flight. Still work to do, but I’m pleased with this shot. Another of the bird perched as an extra.

The bird box is of course in our “ back yard”. Or garden, in UK terms.
