Flag Iris

The Sun has got his hat on... and his flags are out too!

The warmest day yet perhaps, and we've spent much of it in the garden (apart from a couple of hours building a new .gov web site for the parish council). Everything is in bloom, hot and bee-visited.

We managed four and a half games of table tennis; the latter game being regularly interrupted by fits of giggles from my delightful opponent before being abandoned in search of fresh knickers more tea...

The pond is almost clear now I've fitted the new UV lamp and emptied the filters, and the koi are literally eating out of my hand. Over them, the flag iris are tremendously vivid in the mid-day Sun.

The playing field in front of the house is seeing more visitors...
