Day 59 Bottoms up II

Another very sunny day, even warmer and sunnier than yesterday.  What would we do in lockdown without this unseasonably wonderful weather!  My blips are getting a bit 'samey' but then so are our lives at the moment.  Of the shots I took in the garden, I've chosen three of a bee working one of the white hardy geraniums.  I love the lace of his wings and also those little legs in the third shot as he buries himself deep in the flower.

We did have one piece of excitement today and frankly one that we could do without.  The cold water feed pipe  to the hand basin in the shower room on our top floor, broke and gave way.  We did realise within a few minutes but the amount of water that gushed out in that time was astonishing and poured down through a landing light fitting and the light fitting in my 'office' on the first floor, soaking carpets and leaving a patch of ceiling slightly cracked and very discoloured.  Fortunately the ceiling didn't give way and Mr MC was very quick to find a screwdriver and stem the flood.  Our plumber and heating engineer is able to come tomorrow to replace the offending pipe. Phew!
