A Sparkling Morning

We were suitably stunned by the warmth this morning.  So much so that I had my breakfast al fresco in my pjs.  A first. 

Then I threw a seven and landed on Chance.  The card read ‘Walk your usual route to get more eggs.  Go through to Stromness to take your Mum’s Orcadian and to do various messages for her.’  It was better than going to gaol.

It was raining at 1.30 p.m.

Back at base I staked up the young peas and scuffled in the polytunnel.  You’ll all be pleased to hear the Rodgersias (pinnata) are doing well.
