Repair and tread lightly

This photo is for those who like to tread lightly on Planet  Earth and who take great joy in repairing rather than replacing when things wear out. 
Dave is seen here trying to make his beloved slippers , that fit perfectly and have the right level of softness, last a wee while longer . He found anti slip tape carefully squirrelled away for moments such as these and fixed them up . He is very pleased to have them back on his feet .
Meanwhile I have walked Bramble twice and enjoyed views of the Lake District which are much more common at the moment , not sure if it’s due to weather or cleaner air . 
I have been reading today about the Cairngorms and how similar they are to Arctic regions . Another place to put on the list. We keep wondering whether we might enjoy having a small camper van as I wonder if the campsites will open this year to tents. Just wishful thinking , we are grateful for what we have and the lovely weather to enjoy it in .
