Flower Friday: A Wind ARose

Gosh, it's madly windy out there today, and expected to be worse tomorrow evening. Probably the garden will look a little less colourful by then but for now the beds are resplendent in poppies and roses, allium and iris. This south facing climber is being foraged by a honeybee intent on holding on to what he can.

I'm in trouble, because in the gusty winds I crept up behind the head gardener and tickled her unexpectedly, leading to her stabbing herself in the face with the pole end of the rake. However, I can hear lunch being made downstairs, so I'm probably alright.

Probably.

If I don't blip tomorrow, someone call the authorities...
