Culvert

Couldn't think of a borderline witty title for today's entry, so just went with functional.

My working travels took me to Threlkeld nr. Keswick today. The wind was absolutely biting, but I needed to see the area pictured above to report back on it to a third party.

In the summer (ha!) of last year this culvert burst its banks and flooded a nearby property. As a result it is now the subject of legal proceedings as to who should have kept it clear!

Far more interesting is the backdrop, I think I like the way man made contrasts with nature and how the natural clearly works far better than the man made!
