Day 60 – Princes Street

It was very windy today, but still warm; typical föhn weather really. There were occasional spits of rain but far more spells of sunshine. I went for a walk down to the Parliament this afternoon and then headed back up to Princes Street where I took the blip. I was in the sun but there were dark clouds out west that looked fairly threatening; however it remained dry. I took a similar blip on 31 March; superficially it’s similar but obviously the trees are now in leaf but the traffic is broadly similar. An example of how different Edinburgh is from cities further south, where the messages are rather more mixed than the clearer ones issued by the Scottish Parliament.

Best large.
