Sweet Eglantine

On my numerous walks, I seek out little paths that make me think I'm in the countryside! This particular one has fruit trees and blackberries and also wild roses. The last two times I passed this way, it was so windy that all my photos were blurred, Today the wind was calm before the storm and I took my walk before lunch and before the rain came down.

I love all roses, but these wild roses have a special charm because of their simplicity.

Our day started sunny and warm and went up to 24C, then the rain came and the temperatures plummeted to 15C. I love the freshness in the air that comes with rain!
