Crusted Port

Two or three Christmas’s ago we treated ourselves to a bottle of ‘Crusted Port’.  As the name suggests it needs to be decanted.  We rarely drink port, but like a good one to accompany a glass of  brandy sometimes after a meal.
 
Last night was one of those occasions, and I thought “this decanter would make a pleasing photo - what do you think?
 
Unfortunately it also makes an interesting photo the other way up - see extra!
 
 
I did have a drop of what must have been non-alcoholic port with my brandy, the rest had evaporated!!
 
Now to get the ‘stain’ out of the decanter ready for the replacement bottle, and next time seal the stopper.  Or maybe buy a new decanter!?!?
