Looking back to St John’s...

What a beautiful walk today! Across fields and through woods and a perfect temperature for walking. The route took us past my castle school and across the fields beyond. So many different bird songs too yet the birds themselves managed to keep well hidden.

Another good online service first though and then after our walk, I had a chat with our friend who is home from hospital and is doing really well. She and her husband should have been going to Devon tomorrow for the half term break. Not so now, but it meant she could accept a much earlier date for her operation.

No gardening or sewing today! I tidied the study though and picked hundreds of cotton threads off the carpet and wound the cotton spools tidily...
