Poppies!

I went back to find the status of my emerging poppy posted on Tuesday, January 22nd. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it, but found several others worth snapping. It was a beautiful "spring-like" day today with temps over 70F and clear blue skies.

Almost zero post processing with this image - 4x6 crop. I was interested in all the different shades of white comprising the right-hand side flower petals. Almost like the zone system. I'm not sure they are properly represented.
