Kirby Hall

We went out for a ride on the tandem. It was so windy and we had a hard ride over to Spokes pop cafe. It was their first weekend open and they had everything in place for social distancing. Fab cake as always.

On the next part of the route we went past Kirby Hall and decided to go and have a look. Wow it was so big. Obviously closed but you could have a look through the gates at the end of the drive. A very impressive Elizabethan building..There was a peacock wandering around, quite happy to have his picture taken. Around the corner sheltering was a peahen and 2 chicks.  We ventured into the field around the back of the hall avoiding the herd of cows who had a reputation according to the sign post and managed to get a good view of the hall.

When we got home L popped over with his little dog Rosie. It took Ruby quite a while to pluck up the courage to play. Indie of course was friendly straight away.

I took Fu into see my mum in the evening. She held his hand and they had their own moment to say good bye.
