Empty streets

At this time of year the streets are usually busy with visitors and holiday home owners. Just now it is quiet, the only people you meet being friends and neighbours, holding conversations on opposite sides of the road undisturbed by traffic.

Today was uncharacteristically quiet, even for that. One pair of visitors was wandering around, peering into people's windows as visitors will, dressed in strange hats and jackets as if for a shoot. Or a day at the races. Either unaware of the publicity being given to breaches of lockdown or, possibly, members of the UK Government.

Whatever, the steely glares they were getting went home. And so did they.
