Wildflower Meadow

It has been cloudy for most of the day and cooler than yesterday. There seems to have been fewer people around after the Bank Holiday Monday but that might be also due to the cooler weather.
Johnson and Co. continue to try to justify the unacceptable behaviour of Dominic Cummings that flouted the Covid restrictions we are all expected to follow. It might be better if they just said there is one rule for us and another set for the rest of you. At least that would be honest (for once.)
There are some meadows nearby that appear or be allowed to grow naturally which have increasing numbers of wildflowers each year. Hopefully they will attract butterflies and other insects during the summer.
Today's additional image is of a gatepost with a pattern of markings. These are not found on many of the gateposts but the hatchwork pattern is common.
