Life through the lens...

Happy families

No sun today, but still pleasantly warm.
We did our extended walk today and went to visit the pond.
The goslings have grown since our last visit.
Still all 8 of them and being well looked after by mum and dad.

I spotted a friend out in her garden, and we went over to have a chat.
She lives on her own, and hasn’t been past the garden gate since lockdown.
We go back a very long way, to school in the 1950s.
I was looking through mum’s photos the other day, and remembered I found this photo of us as Flower Girls, holding up the flower garland over the May King and Queen. Think it was about 1951. Put it on as an extra.

Also had a chat with a couple who were cutting the nettles down along the paths by the moor.
We thanked them both. She said it gave her husband something to do in lockdown.
They had noticed the paths were now so much busier.
I wonder if people will continue walking out when this is all over.
