This morning, while we were sat outside drinking tea we were visited by a green-veined white butterfly of which I managed a few (just passable) photos. So I chose the Astrantia as I liked the pink colour at the centre.
An early visit to the recycling centre with an estate car full of plastic sacks containing garden refuse. (We’re still waiting for the council to resume their green bin collection service.). I had so many that emptying them took me quite a while, though my early arrival paid off as they’d clearly opened up at 9am and not 9.30 as it said on the website, so there were only four cars in front of me when I got there.
And, as it was almost next door I called at Argo to replenish the sunflower hearts.
