Day 64 – ARP building, Roseburn Park

This is the Roseburn Park ARP (Air Raid Precautions) Report Centre which is a rare example of its building type, built during the Second World War for the purposes of civil defence. It is the only currently known surviving purpose built ARP Report Centre within Scotland. Somehow it survived the after war redevelopment and has now been decorated by this rather fine mural that was painted by Zap Graffiti Arts with help from local people and ‘opened’ last September. The message must get through, but it doesn’t get to the current government who still have Cummings in post and defend him.

Best large.
