Day 65 – Edinburgh Castle

Today was a great day for weather, not too warm (unless you sat out of the wind and in the sun) and the sky was a crisp blue. We needed some food so I went to the Sainsbury’s in Shandwick Place and also took the opportunity to grab a blip. The castle looked particularly good and with no tourists about the whole city seems at ease; long may it remain. The extra is a poppy that was in St Cuthbert’s Kirkyard and catching the light. I’ve darkened the rest so it really shows up.
