Mama Robin #2

...sitting on the ever popular nest at the outside corner of the porch. This one is less skiddish than the last.  Still, she flies off when I water the veg and flower garden, or if she sees me in our bedroom.

We held our walk until after dinner because it was 91 degrees today and it took awhile to cool down. We only saw 2 cars pass and 1 neighbor out.  The silence outdoors is remarkable.

Now blooming: the red, orange, and red-purple azaleas, cornflowers, lilies of the valley, old bluebells (Aunt Anne's), the yellow flowering ground cover, baptisia, red-purple salvia.

I wish we would hear more about people who were ill with Covid-19 and now have permanent damage to major organs.

Hope you're well.  Stay safe.  X
