Don’t breathe in

These peonies look really beautiful but smell like festering cabbage!

I came downstairs this morning and had to open the window in the living room because of the awful pong. The problem is that the flowers still look so nice and I don’t want to compost them yet, but oh dear! I’ll know not to buy the white budded bunch again. :(
