Wild Wednesday: Feeding Time

We're now sure that we have a family of bluetits in one of our nesting boxes, as Mum & Dad keep going to & fro between the box and the feeder.

I've tried to get a shot of them going in & out, but the box is very much in the shade and they're very quick! It was tricky enough to catch them at the feeder, but in the end I managed this sequential set of shots as one of the parents took on another load and then headed off yet again back to feed the chicks.

It's best viewed large against black.

I'm hoping that I might get some better shots another day - we'll see!
