Another Lunch In The Sun

Another very fine day with lunch outside in the sun. The sardines are from Pat’s Portuguese cousin, Hugo who manages a Seafood factory in Portugal.

I may have mentioned Hugo before. He visited us for winter sports in February, a couple of years back. It was the first time Hugo Junior had experienced snow.

He liked it a lot.

Spent some time working in the garden, cutting up fallen timber and  creating "hotels" for various creatures that might visit and want to stay.

Another round of FaceTime Chats. Everyone seems very well, and the California Group are enjoying a rather fine swimming pool with their 18 month old son.

No need for social distancing there as there "Policies" are located in the middle of a mixed crop dairy farm.

After a collective shaking of heads at the latest buffoonery emanating from Westminster, we received the latest guidance from Edinburgh.

A gradual easing of restrictions tempered with heartfelt words over keeping social distancing.

None of these apply to the "Shielded" group which contains me.
I suspect that the Shielded Group will remain In Seclusion for many weeks to come.

We will probably be freed when a vaccine is available, and not before.

Looking around the world, I have gained the distinct impression that a second wave is developing, and will engulf the world over the next twelve months.
