Learning day by day

Ballet Boy

A nice day with William. Dropped C at school and headed to town to do a few jobs. He was very good so was rewarded with a minichino (his first) and a big cup of water with a straw. Then we heaeded to the softplay where he got engrossed colouring of all things. It took a while for him to get down from the colouring table. He wanted to finish his picture at home, which was fair enough. His colouring and concentration has rapidly improved in the last few weeks and he is very careful to stay in the lines now. He reminds me of his sister when she discovered colouring.

Swimming lesson followed and he was a star. Wore his goggles for most of the lesson, went under water without being asked and according to the teacher almost swam through the hoop. Massive steps forward in three weeks. Don't know if it is the teacher or the fact he can put his feet down, but whatever it is, it is working.

Music Train was the usual riot of William singing, playing instruments and rocking/clapping along to the music. He really does love it. Now he knows what a quaver, a crochet and a minum looks like and what sound it makes and can remember from week to week.

This was taken before ballet. The Principal of the school wants to put photos of the award winners on the website, so I was taking photos of Carys with her trophy and of course W insisted he had his portrait taken too, with his trophy and in first position. Love him.
