Camassia

Today's the day …………………………. to copy

Back in autumn last year, I was watching an episode of Gardeners World on the television.

Monty was planting some Camassia bulbs in amongst the wildflower meadow in his orchard.  He showed what they would look like, because there were some there already - and they looked wonderful - statuesque spires of blue or creamy-white flowers. I could do that, I thought.

So I set about ordering some, which duly arrived.  With a bit of help from Will, we planted them in a suitable bit of the garden - and then really forgot all about them.  They did manage to survive the winter - and today, they have started to burst into glorious flower.

It's so nice when a plan comes together …………………..
