Hidden (almost)

An evening walk up to the Common with MrM. My knee's still whinging, so it was the easy way there and back. Surprisingly, on such a warm, still evening, there were very few people around, but quite a lot of wildlife.

On the way to the main track we passed quite close to a roe deer, grazing under a tree. It looked looked at us a few times, perceived us not to be a threat and carried on grazing. Continuing on round the track, we stopped a while to watch a red squirrel at one of the feeders. Then, as we headed towards the smallholding, MrM spotted this little guy, settling down in the bracken. Daren't get too close for fear of disturbing him!

By the time we started down the hill, the sun was going down (extra).
