Mark's mum died yesterday afternoon.  She was admitted to hospital with covid which she survived but then chose not to continue with dialysis. She was 86. Bless her heart.

Re today's photo; I'm 5'6" and those stems tower above me. I planted the bulbs in 2018 but not much happened last year. I cannot wait for them to open! I guess something from the allium family and bulbs most likely from Wilkos.

Clive was supposed to have today off but a big customer wants a product he and  fellow director have written. So now all I can hear is "Blah, blah, blah" while negotiations take place. 

So no early walk from the gallops to Cherhill monument and it's far too hot for me to drag Hetty out now.
