Summer Sky

Today was truly a summer day. Quite a few people in the park appreciating the sunshine. As I write I can hear people enjoying themselves in a nearby garden. It could seem as if everything was normal, but it is an illusion. Everything will return to the other normal in a moment.. The summer weather will pass as quickly as it arrived. The temperature today, which in Aberdeen is higher than Lake Como where I should have been, is forecast to drop by eight degrees tomorrow.

Despite the limited freedom we were granted yesterday I resisted the temptation to jump in the car and drive the authorised five miles from my place of abode. Instead the picture shows the flowers I collected [photographically] during a walk today.
