Lockdown lens

As I'm mostly photographing in my garden, I have treated myself to a new lens.  It's a zoom that goes up to 600mm.  My current longest lens is 300mm.  My idea is that once I have perfected my technique I will be able to take much better photos of the birds in my garden.

However, I thought I would try it out on something more stationary.  Given this picture was taken in broad sunshine, hand-held, I'm quite pleased with the quality of the image.
