Sgwarnog: In the Field

Chaser

I've been scouting the ponds at Sconce Crag for a couple of weeks, but today was the first sign of any dragonfly activity: another Broad-bodied Chaser.

On another warm and sunny day there was just a smattering of butterflies on the moor: Small Heath, Small Tortoiseshell, Small White, Peacock and Large White. Reed Bunting and Stonechat were surveying their territories from the tallest available perches.
