ASH

The clear light was showing the layers of new leaves up really well (some faffing may have been performed). There was a council mower going round the cemetery this morning, the first time for a couple of months, and although it was a shame that the wild flowers have been cut down they'll soon be back, and by leaving them such a long time there will be masses of seed that's been spread about for next year. The new-mown smell was very refreshing as well. The areas around the graves, a long slope down to the road and some of the little copses are always left long for birds and insects and not cut until the autumn so I still enjoyed chasing those (extra).
