Here there and everywhere

Lockdown day 79

We've got into the habit of having roast chicken and all the trimmings on Sundays, but today neither of could be bothered preparing it when the time came round to do it.  I'd been working on work stuff and Bb too, after he'd cleaned the front room, where his main work station is.  So we had spaghetti with spinach, onions, sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese and very good it was too.

Another quiz night with our old IH Budapest friends and when it finished at 10.40 we decided to go out for a walk for the last 20 minutes of our allotted walking time.   There were quite a few terraces still open and I imagine if you go there, then that's ok beyond 11pm.   We even saw a couple of places where the tables were indeed 2m apart.   It was quiet at that time of night, felt like a 'normal' Sunday night and we thought we might start having a late-night stroll before bed.

My blip's of this parrot which we bought years ago in the Sunday hippy market in Rio and hangs to the right of my desk, which you can just see beyond, and the painting on the left of my desk was a birthday present to me from a Peruvian artist friend, Kiki (Enrique), who married a very good friend Fiona from Australia.  We met them in Barcelona and when they got married in Australia we went to their wedding and both said a few words as we were amongst the few people at the wedding who knew them both well.  The glass ball hanging below the parrot's perch is from Cairo, bought in a Christmas market but is too nice to just be brought at Christmas.   By the end of these months, every corner of our house will have been blipped.  No secrets haha!
