Happy 1st June!

Today was the day! RHS Hyde Hall was re-opened for the first time since lockdown, and I managed to get myself and my parents tickets for the 10am time slot  - ooh it felt good to be back!! It was all really well organised from the car park to the queue, which moved quicker than as if it was a normal day!  And then it was just nice to roam old routes and say hello the wildlife and flowers again! It was very busy by the time we left - lots of families with kids look liked they were set to stay for hours! - but we just did an hour and that was enough for us. And hopefully we can now go and visit once a week and get back to 'that normal' at least!  

Another really hot day - too hot for the garden this afternoon so I've been catching up on writing penpal letters and had a visit from the lady who we trim and sort stamps for the bone cancer reserach charity for!
