Short(ened) trip to the lake

I wanted to go back to the lake for the first time since I came back home in November, but it was Pentecost Sunday, two days before a new easing of lockdown and it was packed everywhere.

So I headed back home, took this photo on the way back, and sat in the garden to read Ms Summerscale's book.
