Mint

One of my treasures in my garden is my Maroccan Mint plants. From beginning of May and through summer, I have a cup of tea made from these plants every evening. Apart from the fabulous taste and that it's connected to a summer feeling, it' also a really healthy plant. It's supposed to be good for digestion, bad breath, cures flu, reduces fever, has antiviral effects, helps your digestion system, helps your blood circulation and can cure headaches.

If you want to grow it yourself, it's really easy, make sure you create some sort of border for it to grow within. It sends out its roots in all direction and can easily take over a part of your garden. It's also difficult to get rid of, should you want that, because every small piece of root still left in the ground grows new plants -fast.

But having a fresh made cup of tea made from Maroccan Mint is a blessing.
