Damp

So glad I got out yesterday. Woke up to much needed but damp conditions this morning. Feeling the effects from 500metres of climbing  on the bike. So enjoyed a good stretch with Pilates this morning.

A few jobs completed before a soggy dog walk. However looking at the ground the rain has hardly penetrated the surface. Decided to detour into the Friends Meeting House Gardens in search of a Blip. I do like Irises and thought that the raindrops gave an indication of the conditions. 

Home to do some baking for tea. One Roasted Tomato, Basil (home grown) and Parmesan Quiche went down well for tea. Managed a few jam tarts with the remaining pastry. 

The day rounded off with writing a letter to a friend I played hockey with. Good to stay in touch......in the old fashioned way.
