The allotment site

I have spoken of the allotment frequently recently, mainly because for a while, it was one of the few places out of outdoors we could go to and activities we could indulge in. This scene was taken from our plot looking out over other people's plots. The greenness belies the dryness, we cannot have hoses on the allotment, we have to use watering cans but February 2020 gave the UK the wettest month ever recorded and this is evidencing now. Since that remarkable February there has been very little rain and the extra shows you how dry it is with still no rain.
Additionally, to add insult to injury, we now have a total infestation of aphids; l have sprayed and snipped like crazy and hopefully will be able to save a few of our cabbages and kale.
